Eargasm on bluetooth
I may not be an audiophile yet, but I'm well on the way. I can't speak about headphones like someone that has been using them for years and knows the terminology. The one thing that is true is my happiness with the purchase. I feel the are very much worth the price paid.
The headphones are very comfortable for me and relaxing. All sounds coming through are with clarity, which allows me to hear things in songs that were missed in the past. Connecting the headphones with my devices have been seamless.
There is an app associated with the headphones that keeps everything in order and up to date. Momentum 4 is a good name. Keeping up this type of momentum would make me not hesitate if i needed a new pair in the future. Get a pair and enjoy yourself and you can listen in private as they are Closed Back.
I am still evaluating these headphones. It took me several tries to get connected to them when first activating them. I was almost ready to send them back thinking they were defective. Since then, I have been using them a few times a week. The issue I was having is that they will just disconnect from my phone and then I have to reconnect them. I had a off after 15 minutes activated, so I have shut that off and we shall see what happens. The other annoying thing is that when my phone tells me to turn the volume down it also disconnects the headphones. I have not figured out how to turn of the nanny feature but will. I am actually listening to them now to see if they will continue to play or shut off and disconnect from my phone.
The sound quality is great, good bass but not too much. I have not used them for phone calls yet or used them for a flight, which I will be soon. The comfort is great, they do not cause me to sweat either.
I have several other models of Sennheiser headphones and these are much better than my headset headphones. I like the closed back of these headphones, they do isolate you from the sound around you and others don't have to listen to your music. This is my only pair of wireless Sennheiser headphones. I do have a Sony IEM wireless set that also cancel sound, these do a much better job of sound cancelling.
I will report back if the disconnect problem persists, but so far working great this evening.

Awesome noise canceling headphones
I wanted to try this route instead of the ubiquitous Bose over ear offerings. Absolutely no regrets, particularly on promo. Great sound quality, noise canceling, the rest.
I love the headphones themselves, they are everything you expect from Sennheiser. They look good, the build quality is top-notch, great sound, strong bass, and absolutely amazing battery life. There are two things that I do not care for though and both of which are on the software side. The first is the app, while not bad it's not great either, is kinda slow and a little clunky but it does do everything that it should and is user-friendly. The other thing is the lack of customization when it comes to the touch controls on the ear cups, it's only on the right ear cup and you can't change what each input does.
Very good headphones for work, noise canceling and great sound quality even at low volume. For some people these are good enough to be your main headphones. Very good battery life.
I've been using mine for several weeks now and quite impressed with it's 50-60 hours of battery life, sounds one of the best heard from bluetooth headphones. The details and bass are great. I've had Sony wh-1000xm4 headphones for a while prior to this and glad that I bought this to replace it.
jjp9vqI also have the Sony XM4's and was looking at updating to a new headphone. I tried the M4's on at BestBuy and they did sound good but the earpads made my ears very hot within 10 minutes. My Sony's do not do that. I fly quite a bit and I am worried I will not be able to keep these on my head for the entire flight. I see the odd review complain about this but not a lot. Do you find your ears get hotter compared to the Sony's?
I've been wearing these for a week or so at the office/home and have thoroughly enjoyed them. Comfortable for hours, unbelievable 50-60 hours battery life, and is very efficient connecting to two devices simultaneously. Music, mostly 70's rock, sounds great. I assume that the B&W Px7s2/Px8 and the Focal Barthys sound better but only with a huge price jump. Great sounding, comfortable, great touch controls, easy to use and a great buy!
Do you own the PX8? I know you said the PX8 is more luxurious but not better sounding but I was wondering if you could tell me more about the differences between these and the PX8? I am considering both. Thanks!
HifidudeI do not own the PX8, but have tried it a couple of times. It’s all a question of personal taste. I own Momentum 3, Momentum 4 and Focal Bathys. I my opinion, the Bathys is the best sounding Bluetooth headphone on the market. But it is 2x the price if the Momentum 4. All these headphones are worthy of consideration, including PX7S2, PX8, Bathys and both Momentums. I chose both Momentum 4 (for travel, business and sound) and Bathys (best sounding but not best optimized for Work or Travel). The only way to choose is to try them throughly in an audio store, take your time, listen, and choose what’s best to you.
