I recently got this headset, and wow is it good. My only issue is when certain people talk on discord, I can hear a really high pitched ringing. I fiddled with a bunch of settings, computer audio and discord, and nothing seems to solve the issue. It is primarily if not all in my right ear only. Is there something wrong with my headset, or was that ringing always there I can just hear it cause the headset is THAT good? I haven't had any issues with any other application, though I have yet to test if I can hear the ringing on a different version of discord, say on my xbox instead of my pc. Only other issue I've had is occasional static, but I can't tell if it's from the headset or the show/game/etc.

Nobody is saying it should cost $15, but that over $100 is quite a steep price to pay compared to let's say Woo Audio aluminum stands for $70 which is extremely nicely finished and made of machined aluminum. Esp. when it's featured on a discount website.
Do you even understand the concept of mass production? I'm pretty sure Sieveking do not have a army of people hand making these things out of workshops, with sweat dripping down their foreheads.
Why does respect figure into price discussion? Do you "disrespect" a manufacturer if you voice your opinion that the price is too high?
And why do you feel like you need to somehow "defend" Sieveking?
I can assure you they don't need defending, plenty of people bought the stand at retail - just look at all the Head-Fi photos featuring them, they're not scrambling jets because some internet posters complained about the price, no red flashing lights are spinning at the factory, the designer isn't crying himself to sleep.
It's quite hilarious for you to think you somehow made a moral stand on a headphone stand.
Nope, not world hunger, not cancer or AIDS, not homelessness, not helping out in your community, but this, a headphone stand where some people feels is too expensive, is where you say "NO! I will not take it ANYMORE!"
Maybe that's what gets you off.
