Can you string two 3m segments together? How much amps is the power supply rated for?

orcinusThe amps it has is two and you can't connect two strips from the set to each other because they don't connect at the end. If you have previous LEDs you can as long as the ones that come with the drop are at the end

CanadianN1nj4Are you sure about that?
The specs say 3A, but do not specify if this is for the strip or for the PSU. For the rated power, it says 7.2W/m, which i assume is for the strip.
At 12V, that comes down to 0.6A/m, i.e. 1.8A for the whole strip. So i'd say *the strip* is 1.8A, but the power supply is actually 3A, meaning you can add 2m worth of extra LED strip without changing the PSU, for a total of 5m.
Re: stringing - that's too bad. Although, from the photos, they appear to be cuttable at regular intervals, just like any LED string. If they're cuttable, then you *can*, in fact, string multiple strings together - if the last segment does not have terminals, you just cut it off.

orcinusYeah, but it's annoying since it's water proof and you have to take the waterproofing off the area to cut it. The PSU I got is rated at an output of 12v, 2a
