VonSwoopingtonI asked that same question and bought one last time around and works perfectly. I have vintage JBL stuff with a powered JBL subwoofer and I got the cord I needed which was male rca to mini jack and its great. This unit has so much flexibility and does so much its hard to believe it isn’t much more expensive. I’m sitting here using the BT functionality for the first time and playing a mp3 from my ipad its got a great sound, very impressed myself everything works as described and very well.
hyp36rmaxI went with the TEAC for the headphone output. Have the Sennheiser HD6XX cans arriving in Dec., and the HP output from my Denon receiver sounds like ass, so for the price, I thought I'd try it out and see if it can replace the receiver for pushing passive bookshelf's/sub and competent HP output.
I should add that this is for a desktop PC setup, so everything near-field and not needing a lot of power.
trog69Funny I too came from a Denon receiver for dual purpose speakers and headphones for my desktop PC. I use my TEAC to power my Klipsch bookshelf and sub. While I also have a Schiit Stack Uber’s for my headphones. Waiting on a pair of HD6XX too haha. brother!
hyp36rmaxThose Klipsch are a much better choice for the TEAC than the less-efficient B&W601se or the Affordable Acuracy Monitors I have for desktop duty.
Can't wait to the hear the HD6XX. Never had HPs that cost more than $100 before. If the TEAC doesn't cut the mustard, I'll look into Emotiva or Schiit.
Though it's tiny, it manages to power even high ohm headsets with amazing accuracy. It works great with the drop usb-c to usb-c and my Phillips shp-9600. Soon enough I'll be using the Akoustyx...
I have an external amplifier with no integrated DAC and I only have an xduo xa10 as a dac/amp can I use the xduo xa10 as a dac only with an external amplifier?
So I bought the HD6xx a few weeks back and when I finally got the packages i got some Noir 99. ever happened to any of u guys and how did it get resolved
