For laptops, display screens, and studio monitors, stands are a great way to achieve perfect placement. However, not everyone has the room to accommodate them Read More
I currently have these holding my Klipsch the Sixes. One of the speakers is clearly heavier since one has most of the electronics built in. The heavier one definitely weighs close to the limit if not more. I have these clamps on a table with my record player and it doesn't skip even with the volume cranked.
I sort of bought these without thinking very hard. I have only glass tables and so I'm leary of really clamping these down, which I need to to support even my KRK Rokit 5 G2s.
I'm obliged to give these speaker desk clamps a high recommendation. They were easy to setup with numerous options to adjust based on your needs. I have reclaimed so much desk space and so far they are quite stable. I have a pair of heavy M-Audio studio monitors on mine and there is no discernible shaking or wobble. For me these are a game changer and I wish I found these sooner.
Good stuff. Solid, stable, plenty of adjustments to fit your monitor and workspace.
I use this on my desk, don't want to deal with brackets and mounting monitors and the like. Even on the lowest setting without the pin, at hand-tightness the whole kit stays remarkably still. I have a slab of untreated butcher block as a desk and these grip more solidly than the metal legs I used to make the desk.
Got them on a whim since Drop also had some bookshelf speakers at a good price, just ended up finally upgrading my desktop setup. Now I have more space on my desk and didn't have to drill into the wall or have stands on the floor.
Raising the speakers to ear level have made a difference on sound quality from the speakers I already own, Logitech Z50 or something. Glad I purchased these stands. Waiting on he bookshelf speakers.
EDIT: Finally got the Audioengine HDP6 Monitors and these stands are a great match. Added a Picture.
