If you're thinking of joining this drop in Canada, don't bother. This was the third drop I joined and the first time UPS was used as a courier who (unlike USPS or DHL, the delivery methods on the other two drops I joined) decided to charge an extra CAD$70 as a 'brokerage fee' for processing customs (some research revealed that UPS simply charges 50% of the invoices as a brokerage fee on top). USPS / Canada Post charge a flat $5 fee to import).
Had I known about UPS's ridiculous fees in advance I'd have decided to do the self clearing processes with CBSA described here http://trueler.com/2010/09/13/ups-brokerage-fees-total-scam-fraud-cheating-avoid-it/ .
In the end this changed the drop from being (even with the weak Canadian Dollar and currency exhange) ~$30 cheaper than any price I could find here in Canada to $40 more expensive than retail here. Very disappointed.
