WoofeyAs I mentioned in a recent discussion, I currently own 5 Spinnakers, one of them the blue-white Mainsail.
They are very well built, and give a very good value for their price - especially when bought on Massdrop prices, which are extremely tempting.
About keeping the time - it's not a real concern to me, as I have no need to keep perfect-nuclear bomb - GMT accurate time. From the forums I understand that they are going approximately +/- 5 seconds a day, and I can live with that.
WoofeyHave a look at Seiko and Orient, two of my favorite bang-for-the-buck brands. You don't have to pay $5k+ for a quality and classy automatic watch :)
For example check out the drop for the Seiko Diver SKX007 going on right now on MD. It's an ISO certified watch, tested and certified for water resistance and other requirements at 200m deep. Can't go wrong with a Seiko SKX.
For minimalist and dress watch, check out Orient Bambino, extremely classy!
AmitYDo us a solid and post pics and a review in the affordable forum on wus. Not much out there on Spinnaker right now and we'd all like to see how people are liking it.
Just start a thread titled my experience with spinnaker or something
longtran1568I agree, the Seiko SKX are very accurate and tough Diver's watches, but they're very bland and plain for my tastes. I already have a Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster BN-0150-28E divers watch that is VERY similar to the SKX, and it is my most worn watch, period. But since I already have the Citizen solar powered watch, I don't want the SKX as they look too similar!!!
However, I absolutely LOVE the Seiko Solar Tuna SNE-498, and I LOVE the Seiko Automatic SRPC-44 Turtle. Now those are two very unique looking Diver's watches IMO, that also won't break the bank! Obviously not as good as the higher end Seiko Watches, but good enough for me, that's for sure 😁🕺⌚ Add on a beautiful and HQ StrapCode/Miltat SS bracelet, and you have a winner right there!!!
