Sprit is, at best, a liar. I placed orders with him, for nearly $400, through a GeekHack group purchase, in late 2013. It was actually less, but then he conned me like a sucker into sending him money for shipping, which he said was boxed and ready to go. Obviously, I never received my order, nor any communication from Sprit for a year after sending that money.
He has strung me along for years. I actually got another meaningless email from him last week. I suspect it was only to keep me from posting on this Massdrop. It may also have been because I begged another forum member, who does get emails returned from Sprit, to message him on my behalf.
I have begged him for updates. I have begged him for refunds. He has repeatedly ignored direct messages, emails, and message board posts from me for years at a time. You are welcome to browse through my history of Sprit misery at your leisure by looking up my name there, Dansor.
Mass drop should NOT be supporting Sprit. He is a thief and a liar.
If you are comfortable supporting him, I would say there's actually a pretty good chance of getting your order. It seems like there are relatively few of us from the original buy that haven't completely given up.
