Good price for this. I already have one, and I love it. Just beware that it's heavy... not really an edc, but a beautiful piece for occasional carry. I've been contemplating having the spydie hole ground out to make it a wave feature like in the attached pic.

overgroundThis probably also means that it is not "a knife that can be opened with one hand and which then locks in place" and therefore would become legal to import to AU. Wish MD offered this!

yiriActually the mod makes it so that the knife opens as you draw it from your pocket. So it would probably make it more illegal in countries with more restrictive knife laws.

gdchenI know, but the defining phrase is "opened with one hand". If they were to define this as "opened with one hand and the assistance of some other thing" then every knife on earth would be covered. After all, I could put a little magnet on the side of the blade, attach the magnet to my pants with a carabiner and have the same effect with any folding knife.
You know the scene in movies where the baddie is facing the innocent young thing, hands down by his sides... then *Click!* the knife locks into place, the baddie smiles maliciously and starts walking towards his victim? That's the scene Australian legislators had in mind when they wrote the import ban, and *yes* Parliament are really that immature.

yiriSorry to say, as much as I admire "the Australian way" in some respects... you've got some badly screwed up laws down there...
