From what I heard, most prefer 2 base games of X-wing to start off with. Jury's still out on Armada as the wave 1 expansions have bonus cards in their packs, so less of a need. And I already got in on the Imperial Assault drop last month. People might find value in this drop, but I can't see a lot due to needing multiple copies of some (but not all) of them to make it feasible on it's own.

LonglyNot to mention that expansions are basically necessary for both Armada and X-Wing... This bundle is only good for people who are heavy board gamers *and* star wars fans, *and* have somehow not picked up any of these games yet, *and* intend to start a collection of both X-wing and Armada. That last part is the toughest sell, as X-Wing and Armada are basically two sides of the same coin, with Armada focusing more on strategy than the more tactical X-Wing.

LonglyAs someone who owns one copy of the X-Wing base game, this is very appealing to me, as it's about the same price of getting Armada and Assault themselves, and gets me my second copy of X-Wing.
Hrrrm, dilemma.
