Those headphones are reeeeally bad: The non standard wire connectors gonna slank in a few days. The usb sound card it's just useless. The sound quality it's bad and the virtual sorround gonna make the volume too low to be usable. I changed two of them with amazon and the (terrible) Steelseeries customer services with no luck. The mic it's very short also. I need to talk really loud to be heard. I won't even talk about the software.
Take a minimic with a 30 bucks Superlux, Enjoy a better 50$ game headset.

CholoI never noticed how short the mic was until after getting a hyper x cloud ii but now that I use this sometimes with my laptop the difference can't be missed. I don't think it has that big of an impact on the recording quality but mine also had bigger problems like the right ear being quieter than the left sometimes just randomly. Also they can get uncomfortable for me after a couple hours.
But I have never had a problem with a mouse or mousepad from steelseries
