I have one of these and I love it, but I had to stop using it because it cut holes in the pocket of my jeans.

sweffymoI've read in reviews that they dent and scratch easily and that their quality is not that good. Is this true?

arebokertI've owned the previous model of this, can confirm. They also stain quite bad after a few months of use... the pockets will also have deformed by this time, because they dont hold up to constant card abuse. If you dont mind a wallet that at the most will last you a year, they do look quite good.
BUT in saying that, this is a new model, and looks like it wouldnt deform that easy.

jbwifiThank you for the info!
Could anyone from massdrop or the manufacturer confirm that this model has had these issues fixed? I've read similar comments regarding quality like yours on amazon @jbwifi and I hope this revision has these issues solved.

sweffymoWe added a greater radius to the corners to address this kind of wear issue. This used to happen to me with leather wallets too, but we learned about the issue and do our best to focus on the radius details in design and production.

arebokertThe textured collection definitely addresses the pinging and dinging that can occur in other collections. Like leather, it will take on a patina over time. It's metal. Although a very finely woven metal, we recommend keeping it in the opposite pocket of your keys or loose change to minimize this.

stewartstandThank you very much for the response! What about the inner card pockets? I've read that those wear down rather quickly. I'm not that concerned about the exterior of the wallet as I don't ever have anything else in the same pocket as my wallet.
I really like the design och concept, I'm just a bit vary about how long it will last. Either way I took the plunge and bought one as it does seem like you really do care about community feedback which I want to support.

arebokertThank you! I must have overlooked that comment. A few years back, to address the wear issue on the interior of the wallets, we thickened up the front interior pockets.
The issue was caused by slight embossing of the raised credit card numbers on credit cards. These raised areas wore down over time.
This is no longer an issue with the change in wallet construction. Community/customer feedback is has been incredible and allowed us to continuously improve the wallets.
