Just wondering if anyone can comment on this versus the retrakt? I joined the drop for the retrakt just a while ago so I don't have it in hand yet. The two look very similar but I am intrigued by the grip section of the mover/shaker. It sucks that I can't actually hold it and know how it feels, but just from the photos it looks like one of the best implementations of the grip section for machined pens. I could see myself getting the shorter shaker to complement the retrakt, but if they are really similar, and I would have to ask myself if there are other pens out there that I would rather own... Thanks!

l0c4t0rI have a retrakt and already own a Mover and I'm back for another. Both pens take a G2 refill, so on that you'll want to consider for yourself how many machined pens you'll need or want for that size of refill. The grip section on the Mover is amazingly effective and not at all too pronounced. I compare it to the texture of a cat's tongue: you can feel it, and you feel that it's rough, but only rough enough to do the job of helping you hold the pen. I experience zero discomfort even over long writing sessions. The retrakt is a solid pen, too, but I have to tell you, Will Hodges' Mover/Shaker pens are just far better machined than Karas Kustoms, and you'll see when you have both of these in hand. Both are great pens, but Will's are works of art and the output, I think, of one man's obsession with perfection. So yeah, I'm drinking the Tactile Turn kool-aid, for sure, but I bet you will too when you have your first one. :)
