I should also note: there *does* exist a non-RGB full size model available with CIY. You can get that one on Amazon (shipped) for a hair under $70. If you figure $30 for shipping and $41 for the CIY full size, it's actually cheaper to get it on Amazon, and with a lot less risk. Of course, neither of these options gives you bundled switches, which is kind of annoying, and part of why I'm skipping the whole Team Wolf thing for the time being.
Do let us know how it works for you when it arrives-- if your RGB version still has bugs and whatnot, or if it's fixed. Could be an interesting product if they get it all sorted.
Thankfully, they make things easier for us by putting some "CIY" branding on the CIY versions. On both full-size versions, it goes between the arrow keys and the 6-pack, while, on the TKL version, it goes on the front edge of the case below the arrow keys.
