Drop DSA Astrolokeys Keycaps by sailorhg & cassidoo
They are fine. They are of the hard and smooth type of PBT, so they felt kinda weird on my Varmilo 'board (which has a more textured kind of cap). But the colors are decent. I'd say they would feel more at home along ePBT caps.
These keycaps are so colourful and bring some real positive vibes to my keyboard. Generally i would recommend these, solid, funny and with no flaws. I don't see any reason why i shouldn't recommend it. Simple and fine. if you like colours you will really enjoy them.
I’d guess many like me would benefit from a side profile view to see if this is truly the profile they want. I’m not taking any rating away for that, because that’s on my own level of expertise. If you want these specific keys, just make sure the rest of your board is in cherry profile or you’re good with them being outside your profile.
Works really nicely with my existing key caps as a pop of color but unfortunately the backlighting shines through which makes them look a little cheap compared to the other key caps on my keyboard. Probably won’t keep them on much longer as a result.
Just received these today and initial impressions are pretty good. I threw the WASD keys onto my Tokyo 60 with GMK Mito Pulse and they look fine. The colors don't really match but I just wanted to try the caps out plus I kinda like the "vomit" keycap style anyways. They seem like they are ever so slightly shorter than the standard GMK profile but I don't really notice it when typing.
Color-wise they might be a bit more intense/saturated in person than in the pictures but I don't notice a huge difference. I've attached a not so great picture for reference.
These keys are great, they feel very durable & smooth. Compared to the keys my keyboard came with, they're slightly lower elevation but for Arrow keys, there's no difference.
They are what they are. I like all the colors, though the red does favor the orange side of the spectrum a tad too much. Legends are clear, could be a bit sharper but good for a dye-sub. Caps are thick, only blemish is on the bottom side. They have a very smooth texture, much different from any other PBT set I've owned. You could work these into a GMK set, like WoB, and the feel would be very similar. They sound just like my ePBT set, if that reference helps at all.
