The description says that this "comes in the same size " as the CNC Aluminum TEX case. The last drop of the aluminum case several things changed - there was no longer a larger front lip, and the dip switch hole was made a bit larger. Does this drop of the acrylic case match the new, or old style of the aluminum case?
Also, it would be really nice if we could get some color choices in the acrylic. A nice purple, or red. maybe even a turquoise would be great. I know that won't happen this time, but maybe next time.

InanisI wouldn't be so sure... There's been multiple tex drops here, and most of them were the old style. To me it seems entirely possible that this description hasn't been updated since the first run. I'd wait for confirmation, but if you're right I'd emplore MD to make this clear in the description, with pictures of the new design for reference. Anyone who didn't know about the new design could completely miss that. MD pls confirm
b36oneThat is why I'm asking. MD is rather notorious for not properly updating the description on a drop. I'd guess that this is still the old style, but it is better to find out now. Plus I like the new style better (I may be in the minority there) and the larger dip switch hole makes it easier to use on a V60, if I'm not mistaken.
InanisThis is the version with the wider lip and is the same as the previous runs for this acrylic case. What you receive will be precisely what you see in the pictures.
AndrewLekashmanGood to know! Thanks, Andrew.

AndrewLekashmanSo...its a no go if u have the v60 with 6 DIP switches?
snazzyI think it will fit - it is just that some of the dip switches will be covered, and therefore be inaccessible without removing the case. Someone correct me if I'm wrong! I have this case already, and I ordered a V60, but it hasn't come in yet.

InanisHi can you reply back with pictures of your v60 in this case when you get the chance. I'm currently interested in the v60 keyboard as well.
calvinhousecatI'll post up some pictures once it gets here. Right now my Poker is in this case and I really enjoy it over the stock case. I have another low profile case for the Poker so the plan is to use the acrylic one on the V60. I don't care if the dip switches get covered. Once they are set properly it is unlikely that I'll need to make frequent changes.

InanisAppreciate it man, thanks!
calvinhousecatHere are a couple of shots of the V60 in the TEX Acrylic case. The 1st DIP switch is covered in the case, but otherwise it fits perfectly. One thing I will say, is that it took me longer than it should have to realize two of the V60 case screws were located under the front rubber feet on the bottom of the case.
