I would like to know what size it is as well. If it can hold a pen, it would likely be A5, but the description does not say.

DrPenfectionAlong with the size, they should list the kinda notebooks that'll fit. At least, the more popular ones. For example, does it fit a Rhodia Webnotebook? If they use their own inserts, and you can't buy something other than that, then this should be a pass for most people (including me).

TheDarkTrumpetIf one goes to the "The Goods" website, you'll discover that this cover fits a fields notes or moleskin pocket guide sized insert. Based on the price of this on the producer's website, this looks like a good price.

DrPenfectionThanks for flagging this! We've added dimensions and some suggestions of refill notebooks to specs. I also took a quick pic at my desk to show how a pocket notebook like the Field Notes fits.

Edit: Also, the pen sleeve is quite snug, but I managed to shove in a wooden pencil, and a slim Parker Jotter pen. I'm sure with some use it will loosen and be easier to use, but you definitely don't want to try and fit your Visconti Homo Sapiens Maxi in this.
