ExonauticActually, I am speaking as an FMA and Silat practitioner. I know the history and purpose behind this type of Karambit design. It's not for utility work. It's not a farm implement. It's a weapon. The smallest ones like this were usually coated with a poison so that it could most effectively kill with just a tiny incision. By arguing the purpose of why this karambit was designed is like arguing whether a snowplow is meant to move snow and clear the streets. Sure, anyone can buy a snowplow and never move a single snowflake, but it doesn't change why the tool was created.

dealaholicThat's how they make money these days! Marketing weapons and so called Tactical gear to insecure ppl, wannabe gangsters and the type of person that wants to be military/leo/SF ETC but hasn't got what it takes to actually do it, so they spend their mortgage payments buying this "Tactical" gear and walk around thinking they are the shit! Talking about the new "gear" the they got with their other mall ninja mates! Ever noticed civi shooters (some not all) know more about the latest weapon than actual military, it's probably cause soldiers spend more time perfecting drill, marksmanship etc while the average civis are on the forums!.
