The TRN BT30 is a Bluetooth module system that allows you to use your favorite IEM without the need for wires. The concept is simple: pick the configuration that matches the connectors on your IEM, then just swap the BT30 for your wires to bring wireless, Bluetooth connectivity to virtually any pair of earphones Read More
It looks like these ear hook adapters are the same as the bt20 pro's adapters. If that is the case you can get them through aliexpress.
If you want to use the mmcx connectors with more than one set of iem you will want to get more than one set of the adapters. I had a bad internal connection develop in the adapter and that's how I found them on aliexpress.
CLemmeSorry but outside of this not being a deal. It's stupid as Fk to not offer the adapters separately in one combined order. There pretty much aren't avilailable locally in many countries, including the US. So if you don't buy them from Ali when you order this, you'll be stuck with just the one option until they arrive. Just dumb.
And if you're ordering the other adapters it's smarter to buy it all from Ali in one shot and take advantage of their various coupons to save a bit of money. I paid less than $60 for this from LuckLZ, a pretty well known seller.
This is a very incomplete drop since I would imagine have buds with the different connection options, and that's beyond the bad price. At worst it should be $70 for thr BT30 and adapters at $7.50 a pop. Like give me a reason not to wait for a good deal to pop up on Ali.
I guess because they are a preorder item the accessories aren’t out yet. Give it few weeks after they ship out and hopefully adapters will be available for purchase 🤞🏾
My question is are they better than KZ AZ09 which have horrible bluetooth signal drop. I love my IEM's but have yet not been able to find a cordless solution. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I can say that out of all of the bluetooth attachments I've tried the AZ09 were the worst for bluetooth reception. I'm a huge fan of the TRN BT20S (non-pro) and the only problem I have is with sweat intrusion. I have to seal the seam on the back of the unit with superglue. So one thing I noticed as well is that if you have an old version of the AZ09 the contacts on the back of the unit are flush with the plastic. When my skin becomes wet from working out they drop signal even more. I made a fix by taking some heatshrink and creating a little sleeve that slips over the contacts, helps but still some of the worst signal drop. If you have the newer version they're ever so slightly recessed, this helps but didn't solve the frequent drop problem. Still the worst of all my different TWS solutions. Fiio UTWS01 are nice but the UI (user interface, button click patterns) kinda sucks, but best sound and Bluetooth connectivity, same sweat issue as the BT20S.
