Does anyone have any experience with using something such as this with so few lumens? Thinking 150 (the max) is quite dim. Wondering about usefulness for running.

Here is OGL's headlamp comparison tool showing real world brightness and throw. I selected the Spot which is 130 lumens. However you have to be aware that the lens itself affects quite a bit about the output characteristics of a light - width, evenness, etc.
