This pack weights the same as granite gear crown vc2 60l. GG seems to have more features, what makes this one a better pack?

alfasPacks are a very personal piece of equipment. What one person thinks is the best for them may not be best for the next person. I can tell you that I did the PCT with a ULA backpack and when I encountered a problem, (marmot chewed up my straps for the sweat salt in them) I reached ULA with no problem and ULA offered to send me a pack immediately to use while they would repair my straps at no cost to me except for shipping. Their offer meant that they would send me a pack to use before they would get my used one back for repair. I doubt very much Granite Gear would ever do that for you. I have used and like Granite Gear equipment but a thru hike demands great customer service if you ever have issues. Sometimes the measure of a good company is in how well is solves problems. There is more to gear than just features. Remember that less can go wrong with less complicated gear. Simplicity is a thing to be considered in your choices. I found my ULA backpack to be all that I ever needed and after over 3500 miles of hiking and one marmot, lol, it still looks good and carries great. Hike on...………… Raggs
