How thick are these keycaps? These look very similar to the front printed keycaps made by Leopold... and those are cheaper.

PacwageoIf there were a picture of one of the caps flipped over, we could get an idea. This is of course a subtle hint for Massdrop. :)

AlexPkWould it be possible to post a photo of the underside of the spacebar? It would help for Novatouch owners to see if there is another stem that would hit against the stabilizer housing. Thanks!
KellyHHey @KellyH, I can definitely take a picture, but let me see if I can't track down a more current spacebar. I still only have the old sets and they may have changed the design slightly. I do use a Novatouch though, so I can definitely test that out for you
KellyHAlright, so I stole spacebars from the 3 most recent Varmilo drops that we have. 2 have the usual dual stem setup and 1 from the VA108 had just the stems for their oddly spaced Cherry stem layout.
The 2nd and 3rd spacebar in the picture are the ones included in this drop, while the top spacebar is from another set of keycaps that I use on my Novatouch without problem. The Varmilo ones juuuuust barely hit the stem housing on the Novatouch causing it to get stuck or stopping it from depressing all the way. It must be less than 1mm off from working just fine.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

AlexPkThanks so much! I didn't realize the spacebars might be an issue until I bought the blank Cherry milk/milk caps and happened to try it on the Novatouch. I really appreciate it!

KellyHJust for my own clarity (quasi-n00b still), it's a problem on the Novatouch because they use the Cherry-style stabilization and not the stabilizer bar, am I right? So bar-stabilizer keyboard should probably be okay with these caps, but Cherry-style is a no-go? (I ask because I'm in the pending drop for the Novatouch, but I currently use a Cherry MX board; so I'll soon have both, just wanted clarity)

caduncanThe Novatouch uses its own proprietary stabilizers. On the spacebar stabilizers, there is that circular plastic housing around them that sticks up. If the spacebar you want to use on the Novatouch has two stems very close together on the ends (like the ones here), then the housing around the stabilizer can get in the way of the second stem on the spacebar keycap. The spacebar won't fit.
However, this is not an issue with Cherry and Costar stabilizers. Cherry stabilizers simply look like the stems on the real switches. Costar stabilizers are the ones with the metal bars and the little plastic pieces that attach to them. Neither have any extra plastic sticking up that would get in the way.
Bottom line, for the Novatouch, you would want to make sure that the underside of the spacebar does not have two stems really close together on the ends. I think you could file the plastic away on the spacebar though, if needed.
Hope that helps!
