To give Varmilo some positive feedback: I think these keyboards/cases look great. You've made some great products that many Massdrop customers are happy with (e.g. the Leopold FC660M's, VA87M's, PBT Keycaps). I hope you get a VB660M drop going in the future! As much as I'd like one of these special editions, I'd be taxed on top of the already large purchase price. I'm sure they don't expect to sell too many of these, they seem more like one-off collectables (I hope they come out with a cheaper non-painted model).
I do think that it is very important however that Varmilo realize they need to begin supporting Mac OS X as a significant number of potential customers will at least have one Mac. That is my only real gripe with their keyboards, all other suggestions (e.g. full programmability) I'd take as suggestions for the "ambitious and interesting projects" in the future.
Just one thought for everyone who's trolling this discussion thread: would you still troll if this was made by Topre or Cherry?

crazystuTo address your last question, it's not fair to characterize expressing an opinion as "trolling." And as to whether the same opinions would be expressed if these were being manufactured by Topre or Cherry? Probably not--those brands are well-established as associated with quality that Varmillo of the Comic Sans is not. My opinion would stand regardless, though, as the substance of this drop is far insufficient to justify a $500 MSRP/$400 drop price in the face of excellent alternatives (e.g. GON) that are truly custom rather than "special editions" at those price points.
