Right ear keeps cutting out
So I have a PC38x headset that I bought a few years back. I moved away from home for work, and left the headset there with my gaming PC. I used it maybe 2 or 3 times before I left, and it always had the problem of it cutting out in my right ear phone. It makes like a crackling noise like something is loose, and then cuts out the audio entirely. Sometimes it works for a few minutes, but inevitably cuts out on the right side again. I am wondering if there is a fix? Or could I be shipped a new one?

You can find VEClan's website here for their cables: https://www.veclan.com/engappliance_sel_one?eng_ApplianceVo.eac_id=16
I have many balanced and single ended cables from this manufacture for my Fostex TR50RP, Pinnacle P1, HD650, HD600, AKG 7xx and Beyerdynamic DT1990. I have tried multiple different types of cable material from here, and they all have cable noise challenges when rubbed against your clothing, to the point where many just got thrown away since it was so unusable. Think a 5 o'clock shadow being rubbed on a piece of paper. It's pretty awful. The 'best' of the materials being the "VE Basic B 4 wire", which is a beige and orange twisted cable that is pretty decent. This cable on MassDrop is the "VE Black Litz" material, and again, it's awful.
The quality control issues are also another point I need to bring up. I have had 3 cables from a bulk purchase that were terminated backwards where the left and right channels were wrong on a single ended cable. These cables just ended up getting thrown away.
If you are looking for a really nice cable, give Ursine Audio (http://ursine.audio/) a try. I have thrown away all but one of the VEClan cables I have bought (so long $300, I hardly knew ye'!) , and I personally regret wasting money on inferior cables that just ended up in the trash.
In my opinion, the only way that this cable is usable is if you like to listen to your media in the nude, and even then, only if you shave all that manly fur off...
With all this said, this is just my cautionary tale. Ultimately, you need to make the decision that's right for you, and if you feel $10 USD is worth the gamble, then order up! I'll personally never buy another cable from this company again.
yes, occasionally, i received products less good... I always contacted Lee immediately, and a replacement was always sent without delay...however, the cable noise that you mentioned is not a qc problem, it is an inherent issue because the base is hard n thick.. a quick solution is using a clipper..
i hv the same cable for my hd600 and X2 (3.5 to 3.5), the so called cable noise never bother me, as i never use cans as wallaround gear...
to a point, where they will just say , fuck u ~ and ignore everything.....
here is some simple fact that u didn't even bother to look at .....
1st in this drop, all braided cable for IEMs (mmcx and 0.78) r done with the same cable as our espresso
which u can see from aornic's video , it does not get ANY softer than this~ (way softer than my standard monk plus at least ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDOa00cIp5c
then, yes, we openly stated that our basic sleeve for basic B is very stiff~ hard ~ but this is the flat braid~ which is a new material we came up like months ago already again from aornic's video, he uses them with his Focal UTOPIA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxMw1i8M18A&t=79s yes, they are the same litz cable that u hate soooooo sooo much ~ but they don't look stiff from the video , as they ain't ~ cuz for a headphone cable it is very standard stiffness and the sleeve which feels very much (and look like ) ur shoelace can't be stiff.
So maybe if u don't like something, stop buying more~ it is just simple as that , or at least talk to me before u do Again
cheers
Lee
I've had an issue with my 2.5 to 3.5 converter cable which I contacted Lee and he not only acknowledge the issue, he offered to send me more then one new and improved ones as replacement.
Besides that we chatted for hours regarding our China and Malaysia's culture, economy and even exchanged some dirty jokes lol.
After joining his QQ buyers group for around a month, I found that none of the hundreds of buyers in his QQ chat group has any issues with Lee not honoring an exchange/fix/refund for a faulty item, some of them spent well over a thousand usd with Lee and have not faced any support issues like you(maybe you didn't even asked for support in the first place ?)
Lee is always active in the FB and QQ chat group (maybe too active haha), when he's not talking about VE related things, he shares his intimate personal life's challanges, stories, happy and sad moments with the group, I haven't met a brand's owner being so intimate with his buyers and fans. It's sad to see your relationship with Lee going sour like this when all can be avoided with better communication.
