I can comment on sit/stand desks being nice as I'm using one now; but, I would question the assertion of it being suitable for all heights. I'm 6'4" and my desk shows 28.7" at the most comfortable height with my computer chair and 48.5" at my standing height. In other words, if you're over 6 feet tall, I would question that 16 inch max height as I use an almost 20 inch increase myself. I will say that this is a surprisingly cheap sit/stand option.

Neutrino_TauHey! I'm 6'11 and have been wanting a sit/stand desk or something along those lines, but I can't find anything thats not custom built or obnoxiouslly expensive. Have you any ideas?

drjd24I am only 6ft. I have my desk at 33 inches high. This gives me the room I want underneath and allows me to have my chair at its highest setting and lets me lean back to alleviate those pressure spots that can destroy your soul when you sit for hours. I can stand and type and game on my desk at this height. Monitor needed to be on a 6" box. All in all it works for me.
My point is, you can probably figure out a way to make standing work for you, just try cardboard boxes and elevating your desk temporarily to see what you would need to do it right. Or just invest in the sit stand add on desks. You might have to spend more though because of your height. IDK.
