Drop Mech Keys Meetup Recap - Thanks for Visiting!
As you may have seen, we just hosted our first meetup in quite a while here at Drop HQ (Corsair HQ, but they seem to like us enough :) )! It was a blast to get to meet so many enthusiasts local to the bay area—it had been 10 years since I was last hanging out with keyboard nerds in the bay, at KeyCon 2014. We had a great time hosting everyone at the offices, checking out all the very nice boards y'all brought, and sharing some of our own projects/spaces! I knew it would be fun to host in the Game Room when I first saw it in person, but seeing it come to fruition was still so cool. Alright, I'll stop blabbering on now. xD Picture time! (Oh, real quick - there will be more of these! Stay tuned for more info and to catch the next one!)

There are many styles of space bar, but there is no difference between space bars that use costar stabs and cherry stabs. For costar stabs, you need to remove the white plastic tab under the existing keycap and move it over to the new keycap. This video doesn't show him actually transferring the plastic tab, but you can see the tabs very clearly in the video.
Now, having said that, there's a plethora of space bar configurations. The most common, a 6.25U wide space bar with 3 stems. There's a center stem, and one each 50mm to either side of it. This space bar will fit that, but it also has 3 other stems for greater compatibility. There's the center stem, one stem 12.5mm off to the right, and to either sides, one stem 40mm from the center, and one stem 50mm from the center.
