I think the problem is they call it "Fully balanced from input to output" while it don't have balanced input. But the digital input from USB can still be balanced as long as the amp is balanced. And this is the only way I will use this little device. i get the PC to pass the digital signal to it and do hardware decode DSD using TA-10. Sound is actually very good.
i have a pair of HD6xx and a HE4xx one the way too. the HE4xx will be my first planar. Can not wait to plug them in to the TA-10.

frankghzhuTL DR: Could you please put a few words about the soundstage/imaging on the HE4XXs when running with TA-10? I’m running running my pair of 4XX with a Xonar U7. No complaints whatsoever in terms of power - I can never listen to more than 50% longer than 30 min. It definitely is an upgrade (10-15%) compared to the onboard audio on my ROG mobo in terms of clarity. The sound is dynamic, bright and detailed, but the soundstage seems a bit narrow and all the vocals/guitars seems to be playing behind me, instead of in front of me. The sub bass is present but vague, even EQ’ed. So I wonder now, if it’s the headphones or the source, which is causing this. I saw some reviews and the TA-10 seems quite the appetizing purchase.
