I got one of these for free (not from Drop) to test late last year and though I haven’t spent much time using it, it does feel pretty impressive for a budget metal keyboard. I received a red one and kept the clear linear switches it came with. The finish on the case is a bit rough feeling which isn’t to my taste but it’s definitely hefty enough to make up for that, giving a decent feel and sound even with the included keycaps. I didn’t bother to install the proprietary software just yet but I think if it had QMK/VIA support, its value would go way up. Its wireless performance seems fine and the 2.4G dongle is always better than regular old Bluetooth. In the end I swapped in my KAT Explosion keycaps and just have it sitting pretty on the shelf next to my other metal boards; the plastic ones stay in a pile nearby lol.

At $160, this really isn't a bad buy. At $75, this is a stupid good deal. It's one of the best experiences I've gotten from a commercial pre-built, and I was happy having paid $100. Highlights: sound(!) and feel - shockingly good, convenient mode switching, heavy Lows: RGB not very bright, finish scratches easily, software a lil sus* It's not exactly the same as a high-end custom... but if you want to know what those folks are on about without destroying your budget (or building anything yourself), this board and its siblings stand to provide that window. Just a heads-up about the pink version; it has painted shine-thru caps while the rest have double-shot caps that are not transparent. Also - that little badge is an actual separate machined piece - which is relevant for folks like me who enjoy customizing accents. *The software works fine and as far as I can tell doesn't even try to access the internet, but it comes from a Google Drive folder and Windows shows warnings the first time it runs.

Would it be possible to get some teardown/assembly photos? I might have missed it but is this programmable?
zjskIt is programmable with software available on Yunzii's website.
