Product Question
Hello. I recently got these delivered to me and they are awesome. My question is they seem a bit quite? I have a Crosshair Formula Z motherboard (I plug in to green and pink jacks accordingly) Will purchasing a separate sound card solve this issue? Perhaps onboard audio does not have enough power to drive these or do I need a external amp? Is 600ohm amp good enough? What olm is recommended for these?

Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X Gaming Headset
I have an iMac too! if you don’t need the mic, you can just plug the green tipped plug (with the pic of the headphones) into the iMac’s 3.5mm headphone jack. If you want the mic, you can get a cheap Y-shaped adapter (something like this, there are other brands too: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01K1SNNTK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_u9ZWEbAK7Z35B). You can also get a USB soundcard if you want to add features like surround processing (which works very...

Soundblaster Processing thru Digital Output on Creative ZxR soundcard?
I'm looking to get a DAC soon, as right now I'm just using the Creative ZxR's headphone out, rerouting that to whichever amp I need using a switch. It works just fine, but the DAC I'll be getting will be a fair bit better than the single TI-B...

Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X Gaming Headset
Buzzy? If there is a buzz or hiss even without any audio from the game or computer playing, then you may have a defective BlasterX. It could also be that your headphone plug isn’t inserted all the way... sometimes the jacks are really tight and you have to “click” the plug all the way in echoes... sometimes I notice echoes when using the surround processing on 1 Dimensional (stereo) content, like YouTube videos. It’s usually best to minimize...

Dekoni Blue by Fostex Planar-Magnetic Headphones
I know I got here late, but yes the 6xx are better for positional. They're also easier to drive than the Dekoni Blues. That said, if you don't care about competition audio (I haven't done competitive anything in years) or about the appearance, I'd recommend the Blues -- imho better sound for just about everything where it doesn't matter in competition, i.e. footsteps and positioning. This is because the Blues are bass-heavy (I actually have...

Product Question
My current setup is a 6XX, soundblaster e5 and a modmic 5. If I replace my e5 and get this with a Massdrop x Grace, first off will i notice any improvements? And most importantly how can I continue using my modmic 5 without using onboard mic input?

Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X Gaming Headset
If anyone is having issues with using the PC37x with a Mac Mini, have worked out the issue. The Mac Mini has a higher power line in, the headset does not work in this jack. Was able to work it out by use of a USB audio card. Tried one and it almost worked. On second try, just got Creative Lab's SoundBlaster Play!3 and it works great. Formal model number: SB1730. Got mine from Amazon for about $25, works much better than the $12 first try...

Creative Labs Sound BlasterX Vanguard K08 Keyboard
Times are hard for Creative. Using the Sound Blaster name to sell gaming keyboards must be a new low for them. Gone are the days of sound cards, X-fi and Audigy. Granted most of them where still geared towards gamers but a product that has the word "Sound" but has nothing to do with Audio just sounds weird to me, pardon the pun.
