Drop Alt Stops working during boot
I flashed my Drop Alt with the mdloader software and configurator, but now it doesn't work properly.
When the computer is boots, the led's turn on initially, then they turn off after it starts going into windows. Nothing works. As soon as I unplug it and plug it back on, it works, but if the computer sleeps or turns off, same problem.
I tried reloading the default, but the problem persists.
I did enable smarteeprom, I'm thinking something went wrong there, but I don't see any way to undo it once it is enabled. Is there anything else I can try?
I've already tried from the qmk website, that just makes the board not work at all. It just turns on an orange led on the front and that's all.

Have you tried it using a different computer? I just received my ctrl keyboard today and already have the shipping box ready to send it back. This is super annoying

I had the same problem and I contacted drop support more than a month ago but till now nothing changed they keep asking questions every week but no solution.
I discovered that the problem happened when I use the bin from the configurator and in order to solve it I need to reflash the original software and then it worked well again.
I hope that the solution will arrive in the near future because I want to change a few keys and I can't do it without using the configurator.
I still don't understand how cheap keyboard form razer comes with software and this premium keyboard doesnt have one.

I have the same issue. After the windows boots, the keyboard have no power and after unplug/plug the cable, it works. Have you managed to solve this?

welldown44Yeah, I managed to fix it by flashing it with another computer. I used Drop’s mdloader QMK’s configuration bin file.

But the products are still in the period of designing, it would take some time :( There are some questions we can't find the ways to solve - how to sell keyboard on Drop, and the details about how Drop charge per product? - Actually I sent an email to Drop Studio for some questions, but I didn't receive the answer.( Drop Studio also mentioned that they can contact me only if they were interested in my design / products ). So I'm here ask for help. If anyone can answer my question, I would really appreciate it :)

What is a good replacement circuit board?
I spilled on my DROP CSTM80 keyboard and damaged the circuit board. Where can I get a replacement circuit board? The ones on the Drop Shop site do not look the same as the one in my keyboard. Can you please make a recommendation? Thank you.

Is the drop alt v1 compatible with the official qmk configurator?
I use a Drop Alt v1 and much prefer flashing with compiled .bin files to using the desktop configurator app. Drop's online configurator has been refusing to compile keymaps, while the QMK online configurator at https://config.qmk.fm/ has keymaps for Alt v2 but not Alt v1. Are the Alt v2 and Alt v1 compatible enough that a .bin file compiled for v2 will work on my v1? Thanks for your help!

I'm unable to run the drop keyboard configurator setup
I have windows 11 and I've recently got the cstm80. I'm trying to flash the firmware, but I'm unable to run install the configurator. Every time I try to run the setup file nothing happens. The version I'm trying to run is: Drop+Keyboard+Configurator+Setup+24.9.6-322.exe I've tried running as admin, but nothing I do gets it to run. I'd appreciate any help.
