My Current Setup as of June 2023 from Betty (Switch and Click) I always tinker around with my setup, especially ways to make it more and more simple. I mainly just work here, but sometimes, I'll play games like Overwatch 2 or Valorant. Do you go for aesthetics or functionality when adding a new item to your setup? I go for a functional approach that is clean and easy to access. All the tech I have on my desk needs to have a purpose or else it gets moved in a couple of days. I tend to have notebooks and sticky notes open throughout the day anyways, so I need room for all of that too. What determines which items have a “permanent” space in your setup? If I use it a lot, like my keyboard, mic, and sound mixing device is essential to my everyday work and play. I love my headphones. They're the only brand that I've found that fits my head, the Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones. It also needs to be subtle, I don't like anything too distracting in my setup. My keycaps, the DCX WoB are a perfect example of this. Simple, yet nice and clean. What was the most frivolous addition to your battlestation that you absolutely don’t regret? The most frivolous thing I use is probably a small mat underneath my keyboard. It's not a deskmat. It's just a small mat that fits a 75% keyboard exactly. But it saves a ton of space. What was the desktop/setup item that surprised you the most? Something that you didn’t expect to hold on to after you tried it? Surprisingly, I've tried a ton of random things so far. This BEACN Mix Create actually is something that has been amazing for me. I can go from my headphones to speakers just by holding down a knob for 2-3 seconds. It lets me control my music, browser, chat, and everything separately so quickly. Definitely the most functional thing I've added so far. Do you have any favorite desktop items that would surprise your followers? I have a random dac/amp mounted underneath my desk that I don't use anymore. It's a Schiit Fulla 3. I loved using it when I did, but it only let me change the volume of my headphones as a whole and not as minutely like the BEACN Mix Create. Do you have any cable management secrets to share from your experience perfecting setups? I just make sure my cables aren't in the way when I clean and vacuum. Adding/Including Memories

I lost my dad last year (2023) and have been finding ways to include keepsakes/memories in my workstation. I've dabbled here and there with doing small woodworking projects and attempted a wrist rest from a piece of oak I picked up with him from my great uncles wood shop. I milled it to fit a 60% keyboard as I hadn't decided what keyboard I would be using it on and thought that's where most of my wrist would be in contact even typing on a full keyboard. I gave it a torched/burn appearance as I really was lost in what to do. I found an old shell casing from going hunting with my dad in my hunting pack and decided to imbed it into the end of the wrist rest so it would just have a little difference and a small story behind it as well. I have other things around my workstation from family and friends, but it just feels a little more special having worked on it and adding something small that has a memory for me to it.
