Hi everyone,
my name is Jaeyou and I make videos around the custom keyboard hobby!
Here is my 100% not-staged photo of my battlestation — where I mostly battle spreadsheets and video footages 🙃
Do you go for aesthetics or functionality when adding a new item to your setup?
When it comes to my home desk setup, I weigh functionality over aesthetics. That being said, I do try to keep a clean/tidy form in general though!
What determines which items have a “permanent” space in your setup?
I have a bit of an opposite approach, where I like to add things then remove it if I don't use it for more than a month!
What was the most frivolous addition to your battlestation that you absolutely don’t regret?
The BenQ ScreenBar Halo has been something I appreciate more than anticipated. Lifesaver when working late in a dark room.
What was the desktop/setup item that surprised you the most? Something that you didn’t expect to hold on to after you tried it?
My 3M synthetic leather wrist rest! It was supposed to be a "temporary" solution from Amazon while I look for something nicer; however, it was perfect for me where I stopped looking haha.
Do you have any favorite desktop items that would surprise your followers?
The MX Master 3 mouse saves me dozens of minutes each day. I couldn't go back to not having it.
Do you have any cable management secrets to share from your experience perfecting setups?
Command strips and reusable cable ties smartly used at the back of the desk :)
