The BMR1 do exist and this is a Run 1 production unit. Review will come, but I wouldn't say I'm an audiophile.

When first set of BMR1s were delivered, the item had a "rattle" in the right monitor which I noted was a complaint by several other purchasers as well. I also attributed negative discussion comments to improper set-up. This recent replacement performed as stated and benefitted by the addition of a small 6" subwoofer by Episode. When connected properly none of the bad characteristics mentioned by others was present. I'm happy with this item as they fit on my desktop very neatly. Drop had some problems with replacing the BMR1s, for a working pair but eventually this was accomplished successfully.

AudioproI was part of the first batch and I do not have a "rattle" nor does mine get as hot as some have been claiming. Maybe I got lucky or maybe I've kept myself from being overly hyped. The speakers are still satisfying for me to use, just haven't pulled the pin on doing a 6" subwoofer yet.
Some trivia - Run 1 is actually "build 3" - We went through several practice build cycles to make sure our customers in Run 1 will have a BMR pair with the same tolerances as Run X...

FastnlI appreciate the transparency. I was content waiting on the speakers if it meant quality control and testing was involved. So thank you.

How would you rate these
Island-ListenerAt it's current price ($129), I would put these up at as recommended speaker compared to others within it's price range. It's a warm sound where the bass hits hard (for me), but you're still getting the details from the mid-range and high-range. The bass doesn't kill the experience for me. I don't have a subwoofer connected to the speakers, and I don't plan to since it's good enough for me to enjoy music, movies and gaming. My music genre range from heavy metal, not so aggressive rock (punk, grunge, hard rock), hip-hop, electric (eurobeats and EDM). The headphone jack comfortably powered the 58X and 6XX headphones. The Bluetooth is convenient but it will surprise some users. I'm still getting a similar experience with the sound in BT as I do wired up to my DAC/Amp stack. It has it minor drawbacks in its physical design, but that's up to you to decide if it's a deal breaker or not. Hope that helps.
