Anyone who's been paying attention to the PC market has seen AMD's Ryzen APUs. The 2200G and 2400G have amazing value and have enabled some great ITX builds. It's well known that when purchasing one of these, higher frequency RAM is a must. This is because they are held back by the speed of RAM. He's where HBM2 comes in; with it's small size and high speeds, APUs would no longer be bottle necked, and would be comparable to a dedicated GPU.
Not very much information or speculation is available on this topic, which is why I'd love to get a discussion going. Let me know what you think and where you expect pricing and availability.
