Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. - Are you using them outdoors or indoors? Outdoors is challenging for additional reasons than just power.
- Are you opposed to an additional amplifier rather than replacing the player? A new player if the existing is awesome otherwise may not be a needed expense. There are many options to amplify in addition to the player that may make you happy.
Personally I use the 6XX only from home and when I'm home I drive them with anything except my iBasso DX80. Not that it cannot drive them, but it's a far less enriching experience than almost any desktop amplification. That said, my iFI micro iDSD BL has been a great pair and is technically portable, so there's that as an option to add to your existing player. Let me know your thoughts.
