I am new to the audiophile world so I've been experimenting with headphones and such to find what my ears like. I like tubes and warmer sound. Clarity is nice but it fatigues me. My rig is as follows on a desk I built from old pallets as a fun wood working challenge. I like beat up looks and having to work around flaws in wood: My own built gaming PC -> Fiber Optic to Topping D30 split feeding -> LIttle Dot Mk3 / Shiit Magni 3 Headphones Pictured: Massdrop AKG k7XX - With modhouse audio mod to attach brainwavz pads Massdrop Sennheiser HD 6XX - With modhouse audio mod to attach brainwavz pads Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 300ohm - With brainwavz pads Beyerdynamic DT 990 300ohm LE Black - With brainwavz pads Headphones Not Pictured: Sony MDR 1-A (at the office with my Fiio Q1) - With brainwavz pads Sony 1000xm2 Samsung Gear Icon x (For the gym) Massdrop AKG K240 - With brainwavz pads Superlux HD 681 - With brainwavz pads Massdrop hifiman he4xx - Giving as a gift this Christmas. Product Question

How does this HD 58X Jubilee stack up against the formidable HD 560S in terms of overall sound quality and signature? I'm quite sensitive with the sibilance coming out of the HD 560S, but love everything else about it pretty much (lows, mids, clarity, and soundstage). With this being said, am I gonna lose a lot in terms of overall sound quality if I switch to the HD 58X Jubilee? I'm gonna pair the headphones with my Schiit stack (Heresy and Modi 3+) to ensure proper amplification and DAC performance. Lastly, do those angled earcups on the HD 58X Jubilee interfere a lot with a medium-thick glass frame? Many thanks in advance.

"Mid tier" IEM recommendations?
I'm thinking of making a modest investment in a solid pair of IEMs. I have long been hoping there'd be another drop of the IMR R2 Red, but that seems highly unlikely. So, now my attention is on the JVC HA-FDX1 DUAL CARBON. What else in the $150 to $250 range is worth my attention? Not sure what to share so y'all can provide targeted recommendations. I have the HD6XX and KZ ZS10 Pro. I use the Radsone Earstudio with the KZ, and probably would with whatever I get next. I'm very happy with the sound of the HD6XX but would welcome a little more on the bottom (I don't consider myself a bass head). Sources tend to be high resolution. Classic rock and progressive predominates, with a lot of live recordings. Fiio FA7 or FH5? IKKO OH10? Aiderlot M5? Simgot EN700 Pro? IMR Knight (about $260 from their site)? I see a lot of ChiFi options on Amazon, which I don't dismiss out of hand, but there are a lot to sort through. Besides a great sounding product, of course, I like "bang for the...

Dragonfly Cobalt is impressive
Im using with my android note 8 via Qobuz utilizing the USB Audio Player Pro. app. Mostly used line out directly to my amp. Fantastic sound. Very crisp detailed and clean and transparent with absolutely no edginess that is sometimes associated with crisp detailed dacs. Totally disagree with Zeos on this. The difference is substantial If used with qobuz via Audio player pro. If you're looking for great sound and not interested with all the additional bullshit bells and whistles this is an extraordinary item. Not suprising that stereophile mag selected this as budget product of the year

New To Audiophile
I am looking to get into some audiophile with some headphones, I have been looking at the Drop x Sennheiser HD 58X and the HD 6XX, now I don’t know if I will be able too afford a Dac/Amp to go with them right off the bat, therefore probably not taking full advantage of their sound. But as a new person dipping my toes into this realm is that a good start and how would they sound just plugged into my PC which has a Z370 Asus Prime motherboard that they will plug into. Any and all recommendations and help is appreciated

Drop + HIFIMAN HE5XX Review
You can read the full review here at Headfonics! Drop bats another home run with the HE5XX, we all knew this already though. I am a bit late to the game on this one. My main concern is the lacking included balanced cable. As I say it is not a problem that it is not included, I (The audiophile reviewer) do not have a 3.5mm dual entry balanced cable to test with. HAHA! But that is my fault. I am told it improves more in balanced mode but cannot confirm based on anything but prior experience with Planars where that sentiment is in fact true as can be. The HE5XX is a steal at $220. No, it does not feel like the older original HE500, but it feels like a natural sibling to the newer models from Hifiman and if you like them, you will like this one too. I'd rate it 4/5 stars and not only would recommend it to friends but family too. Drop does great with these re-releases. This is a generalist, a great all-around usage headphone. From music to YouTube, to light gaming needs, to a...

Drop Panda only charges up to 90 per cent, not 100.
I got my Drop Panda last week. Whenever I try to charge it to full, it doesn't make 100 all the times. Once I left it while charging cables plugged, after a few hours or even half of a day, it only charges 90per cent. The weirdest thing is that sometimes it only charges 80. Does anyone have the same problem?
