There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. The reason for that distinction is clear--Panda bears, only come in the first arrangement. Now at this point, everyone should be thinking about the most well-know Panda, The Rolex Panda, which is actually a Daytona, and among Rolex Daytonas, the most famous of which is the Paul Newman Daytona, which was famous first, because it was Paul's, and second because it sold at auction for $17.8 million (US Dollars). The story of that auction is well-known so I'll only...

- Last hoodie was priced at $150... probably tool much for a hoodie the caliber I received. Still a very nice piece of clothing, but $150 for a wool hoodie puts you into an upper tier of competition.
- Really needs some sort of anti pilling coating, or advice/instruction for reducing pilling. I wear it about every day to wear to the gym (not in the gym) and then to work. I've only had it for about three months and already I can tell pilling will affect this piece.
- delivery dates constantly slipped for this piece, from fall/late fall of 2018 to end of winter - feb 2019. So if you are on some sort of schedule it could be a problem.
- Thumb holes need to be bigger on the larges. I like the thought of the thumb holes but may have to get them adjusted myself.
- Billed as a metal zipper, but feels like a plastic zipper, doesn't feel solid, could use more robust hardware on a ~$150 piece. Maybe a larger zipper that will not be as prone to getting stuck on the draw strings
- Drawstrings get caught in zipper easily. I might swap out for some sort of cord.
Things it does great:- Super warm, very good at the thermo-regulating "feature". Often the only layer needed on top of a tee in late Seattle winter/early spring. ~Not windproof~ Tall zipper
- Chin guard/wind flap is great, feels super secure when zipped all the way up.
- Very cozy, cant overstate how comfortable it is.
- Fit isn't as slim as it looked on the model pictures, but they never are for me, 6'3" and lanky.
Really enjoy wearing this piece, would recommend with the caveat of sticker shock and the need for a sweater comb. Thanks (Mass)Drop .
