My mothers famous waffle recipe! Best waffles I've ever had. You don't need any syrup, just some butter. WET INGREDIENTS: 2 Eggs (separate egg whites), 1 1/2 C Milk (maybe a little less), 3 T Butter, 3 T Honey/Sugar.
DRY INGREDIENTS: 1 1/4 C Flour, 1 t Salt, 2 t Baking powder, Mix all wet ingredients in a large bowl, except egg whites. Mix dry ingredients together and add to the wet ingredients. Whip the egg whites then fold in gently. Cook until waffles are a golden brown in a waffle press. Remove and lather with butter (to personal preference of course).
Last step? Enjoy!
