“The modded JVC FD01, on which these new FDX1 are based, have been my favorite IEMs for more than a year now.”

“Personal remarks:
-White filters are equivalent to FD01 stock tuning (all three FD01 nozzles measure basically the same). Too much upper mids and treble energy in my book. Extremely detailed, but fatiguing.
-Yellow-green filters are "reference" tuning, slightly v-shaped with a touch of warmth, yet still very detailed and pretty close to my idea of neutral.
-Blue filters are "relaxed" tuning, warmer and more easy-going than "reference". Works particularly well when you're out and about, where a little tilt towards the lower frequencies comes in handy.”

"SUMMARY
  1. Agreeable if not ideal frequency response. Warm with a touch of upper-mids to bring out vocal overtones. Amazingly gentle highs!
  2. Great timbre: inherent warmth, natural overtones, evident textures
  3. Impactful and hefty lows.
  4. Fast but natural transient response.
  5. Highly resolving of low level information in recordings.
  6. Not cheap, but IMO priced too low. In many respects, the DROP + JVC HA-FDX1 DUAL CARBON IEM is a groundbreaking product and something that I have waited for a long time."

“The end result is a bold and captivating sound that makes you want to keep listening to just one more song. They have a large and well-defined soundstage with very good image placement. Their bass is fantastic. It goes deep and maintains its power even into subsonic frequencies without any audible stress...”

Oh- available now by the way...490 pairs can ship by 12/19/2019. 200 already sold so far today (the first day).
Hi @AlanChanHC, There are some grooves/ridges that have been removed from the housing as they can interact with the ear and provide some visual differentiation from the FD01. Other than that, they are the same- the FD02 does not have removable nozzles. Sorry, there are no plans to sell just the nozzles...
Will the FDX1 has the same body as FD01 and come out with different nozzle? Is there any option i can just buy the nozzle?
