If the battery goes dead and you replace it... it takes a few minutes to come back on. Give it a few more minutes and it should work just fine!

I've found that if I use mine for a few minuets, turn it off and try to use it again straight away, it won't work. Something to do with the electric tail switch I believe. Leave it a few minutes and it works again. I also believe this happens more when the battery is getting low. Mine is approx 5 months old and still working fine apart from this little quirk. Hope this helped.

snowmangoinmoI am very sorry to hear it. 😢 I hope you have better luck with your next purchase. It appears these flashlights are a bit hit and miss.

I have both the brass and titanium versions of this light. The only time I've had issues is when the battery is low on power. When I swap the battery, all is well. I love these tiny but powerful flashlights.

Snowman: sorry you had bad luck with yours. Both my brass and blue titanium AAA flashlights have been pretty flawless. Hopefully, it will stay that way. However, after picking up that Lumintop AA from Amazon; I'm not using the AAA Massdrop lights as often.

I had mine for about two weeks when i ran into this problem. I changed the battery and it worked fine. It is real easy to unknowingly turn the light on and if your not paying attention Run the battery out.

Sometimes if the battery is low or if you just swapped batteries, the e-switch loses charge in its capacitor. If you make sure it has a freshly charged battery (I use eneloops) and let it sit for a few minutes then it should work again. If that doesn't work then it's possible that the switch is broken somehow.
