How can you make these keycaps a bit more quieter? Can you use qmx-clips plate mount or o-rings?

The keycaps should be tall enough that you can use foam inside them to fill in the empty space. KBDFans was selling some spacebar/modifier foams a while ago last year but I haven't check that in months.

Those work but reduce the key travel and can result in a mushy feeling. It has more to do with the switch you use. I suggest silent switches like mx silent reds, zilents or Rosélios from zeal pc and make sure your stabs are lubed properly. There are good tutorials on this on YouTube

ddrfraser1Chan confirm changing switches did help. I went from halo clears to zilents. By no means is it a silent board. it is quieter, and I prefer the zilent tactile feel. Also I never thought of lubing the stabs. right now those keys are the loudest by a. lot so that would be where I go next.
