How do you take out the ear pads? Mine are like super stuck in place and I feel like I’d need to apply a ridiculous amount of force to do so.

I just bought some used Focal Elegia with 2 sets of pads, so I have some experience in this matter. Yes, removing the earpads can be somewhat frightening as it feels like you're ripping them off and potentially damaging them. The method I use is easier but still requires some care. If you can see the images attached from @Okeer
  1. there are 5 retention clips, spaced out as 3 on top and 2 on the bottom, same as my Elegia.
  2. Removing the pads from the bottom will require less effort because of only resistance from 2 clips.
  3. So, reach in with one finger at the bottom of the earcup and move your finger inwards along the material of the pad and downwards until you can feel the thin plastic of the retention ring.
  4. Now move part of your finger behind the ring and slowly pull away. **WARNING** be mindful of your knuckles folding into the earcup as you do not want to damage the inner parts of the headphone.
  5. Once you get the hang of it you'll be able to use 3 fingers at the side (or bottom) of the ear cup to quickly swap out pads.

Hey Ryan. I just got these myself. Did you leave that plastic on that surrounds the driver? I can't tell if that is for protection in shipping or if it's supposed to be there. I can't get an answer anywhere. I got with Drop customer support and his answer was "im not familiar with that product."

Where did you buy the ear pads replacement?

They are held on with clips, you reach in and get your finger on the plastic back to help with leverage.
