Just want to jump in, say hi, and follow. :)
New to quilting, not at all new to sewing. I seem to be preparing my space more than getting projects done, though. (Moved to new home over the summer.)

ailgilI hear you, Ailgil! Something about having your sewing space planned for function makes a great difference in working your projects. Enjoy the process!

ailgilMe too! Always having to move other stuff around to get to what I need to do at the moment *sigh* I think better organization and storage will help with that. I also move to our summer home each spring and back to our winter home each November, so that makes for too much mess and Re-reorganization.

ailgilI know how that can be. If you feel like you wish you were accomplishing more but can't quite get started, you might want to check out the "Elm Street Quilts" blog. Every month she has a link-up in which you can set a goal for the month--anything, even something very small, you decide what you want to complete during the month. Then, at the end of the month, there's a link up to report back (with a photo) showing that you completed your goal. It surprises me how much more I accomplish just because I've "committed" to it by posting a picture online and saying I want to finish something (or make specific progress on it). There are random prizes given out, but seeing my own progress feels like a win to me.
