I am a young teen that has never had a mechanical keyboard. I doubt that I will be able to build a custom built keyboard. I am trying to find a good 60% or tkl keyboard with gateron clear switches for gaming. My preferred price is around $50-$150 aud.
i might be a bit late, but, from glorious pc gaming race the gmmk is a hot swap and if you click customize you can choose the switches you want it to come with (+ keycaps) witch include gate clears
Off the top of my head, idk a board that has gat clears stock. If you googled it, maybe look into getting a hotswap keyboard. They might come with a linear switch that you aren't wanting specifically, or no switches at all. (basically a working pcb) Then you buy the clears and just plug them in. It's good for beginners. Be aware that there are many levels to "some assembly required" so make sure you find some reviews of the board, and keycaps will not be cheap if it doesn't have them. @erickong knows whats up! Tae will teach you everything you need to know.
