My custom ortholinear keyboard
Hi there ! Here is Okey65, a keyboard I designed and assembled at home, based on an Atmega32u4-au chip, a pcb, fr4 plates and a 3D printed resin frame. As you can see it's a 65 keys ortholinear keyboard, a kind of Preonic with an extra column and a symmetrical layout, the sources are available on my Github: https://github.com/kiks64/OKey65 Being just a hobbyist, the pcb design is simple, no rgb or hot swap sockets, but it's fully dampened with foam, has a USB type C port and works great :) It is currently fitted with dsa keys from Signature Plastics which are unfortunately very expensive, but there is a perfectly compatible set of keys which should soon be available on Drop, the wonderful Mito Canvas set (Alphas + Text Ortho or Betas + Micons Ortho). If you are interested in my keyboard don't miss the drop!

T1 switches versus Holy Pandas? The Board Podcasts goes through pretty in-depth reviews of almost all components of a keyboard and his knowledge of the product shows. In this particular video, he compares the T1 switches to our Holy Pandas and he certainly taught me what negative tactile is! He’s coming out with content on a regular basis so check it out.
