Could someone post or direct me to a post of an example of configuring the Drop CTRL function keys to behave like those on a Mac keyboard? For example, instead of using Fn+PgUp to increase the volume, I would like to simply press F12. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Are people not incorrect saying the stem have the legs "broken off" when in fact the stem was just an incomplete casting? When taking the switch apart to lube, there are no pieces of the "broken" stem legs inside the housing. So how did the stem legs become "broken?"
Recently I've noticed a high pitched whine coming from my Drop CTRL if I have the LEDs turned on at all. It's quiet but clearly noticeable and is driving me crazy. I had assumed it was a USB issue so I tried both ports on the CTRL but no change. I tried different ports on my PC but no change. I was using a Custom cable so went and tried the USB cable that came with the keyboard but the whine was still there. Anyone else have this issue?
CTRL making weird high pitched noise when lights are on.
I just noticed (when I put my computer to sleep and could only hear the keyboard) that when the lights are on, the keyboard is emitting a very high pitched whine-like noise. It sounds almost like this, but with a higher pitch and not as loud as the video makes it seem.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJxlNDliSUs Questions: -Is this a normal occurrence for CTRL boards, or could I have received a defective one? -If you HAVE experienced it, how did you fix it? Also worth noting... My USB port should definitely be generating sufficient power. I've had multiple other RGB boards connected, and have never experienced this issue.
