So, Asus finally took the wraps off the prices on the FX505DY and FX705DY laptops. For those who haven't been following these two laptops are the very first Ryzen 3xxx series laptops to hit the market, and the very first Ryzen laptops of any kind to my knowledge that contain a discrete 1080p capable GPU. The mobile RX 560.
The price point is attractive, converting from Euro's the US prices should be somewhere between ~$599(US) to ~$799(US). The build quality, promoted as Asus reaching Military Specifications, probably means these laptops will do very well in the Esports market.
But... they aren't laptops that I personally would want to buy. One deal breaker is the appearance of an HDMI port. Really? An HDMI port? Why?
Let's be honest here for a second. Even Nintendo is using USB Type C DisplayPort output to provide HDMI. When Nintendo, whose legacy of hardware choices includes shipping a 12 year old ARM V7 processor in a mobile device instead of using the available ARM V8 for...
As many people know, Dyson vacuums are amazing. I have seen then in action, used them, and now I have to have one.
My current townhouse around 1,200 square feet. And while it isn’t GIANT it is mostly carpet. Currently our shark stick vacuum just isn’t cutting it, and I would like something wireless that can truly rock it with the best of them.
For this reason I am looking towards the Dyson V8 absolute/animal. It has superior suction, a hepa filter and can last upwards of 40 minutes on a single charge. Which is WAY MORE than enough to clean my entire townhouse. Now it does have its short comings, no swapable batteries, a somewhat small tank, and only 7 minutes of run time on its highest setting.
But that said, the dyson even on its lowest setting will destroy my current shark vacuum. With the stains power carpet and hardwood heads it also has the lifting power of most full sized corded vacuums.
I personally would love to see the Dyson V8 animal or absolute as a drop...

So I am currently building my own desk setup and am looking into buying a monitor which will be hooked up to my Dell XPS 15. This monitor NEEDS to have these specifications: USB-C (Data and Power), 4K UHD, and preferably 32 inches. I have a budget of around $700. I would appreciate your suggestions :)
I’d like to know if any of you guys knew a good gaming screen (144 hz or more) which would be not too expensive.
I don’t have a specific budget but below 200 € seems a reasonable limit to me.
I have a gaming pc that can handle 160 fps but my screen allows me only 80 fps so that is very unfortunate and it’s the reason of my change
Don’t hesitate to ask me for more details
