DROP View - Monitor That Matches Fit and Finish of DROP Mech Boards?
TLDR: DROP should make a high res monitor that matches the ALT/CTRL/SHIFT boards in design language + fit and finish. Just drop a good pre-existing panel in an aluminum enclosure with that signature LED acrylic strip and a controller board that doesn't lock you into the Apple ecosystem to control more than 4k. If LG can get $1500 for a crappy plastic monitor, and Apple wants $6k for 6k, there has to be some in between market.
More wishful thinking:
Has anyone else out there been looking for external monitors for WFH and realized that there are essentially three camps, and that you don't fall into any of them?
Camp 1: Crap you'd find in Office Depot. They probably don't list their resolution because their customer base probably doesn't know or care what that means unless they saw it in operation. Cheap, but not as cheap as they should be.
Camp 2: Gamer monitors. Seemingly prioritizing nothing but refresh rate with a resolution that is almost certainly at or below 1440p. Almost...
I have designed and printed a set of keycap which based on my layout and compatible with some popular layout on Ergodox EZ website. Some print is not on perfect position on this sample.
I may consider to start a group buy. Please leave your comments.

Composed by 150 keycaps, this kit is the starting point for everyone, and provides great coverage for many boards including Nemo, Uniqey’s C70, Leopold’s FC660 & FC980, TADA68, 96-key layouts, as well as winkeyless boards. All of them in both ANSI and UK ISO layouts. The Core kit already comes with 2.25U, and 1.75U SHIFT keys. One 7.00U and two 6.00U spacebars (one with a centered stem and the other one with an off-centered one) have also been included. Both scooped and...
I recently acquired a Drop Alt keyboard this year (2020), and I recently notiiced that sometimes I get key stutters when typing the letter "I" (I left the one intentionally in this post because it just happened as I wrote this). I tested this by pressing only that key and space and managed to get a stutter within an iinterval of spaces (happened again).
Has anyone else experiienced this (again)? Any ideas? This happens on multiple computers so its not specific to an OS.
I remember this this happening with another key as well but I clearly use it less often and noticed iit (again) less.
Is it possible to program an Alt to activate a sequence of keys with one hot key?
I want to make Fn+M output an em dash on Windows. But the way to type an em dash is to press and hold Alt+0151. Do you think it's possible to make that happen using QMK?
I haven't set up my environment for it or dug into any code yet, I was hoping to get some thoughts on whether it's doable before I went to the trouble. Thanks in advance.
Edit: Got it working by using Unicodes. If anyone else wants to do the same, files are here https://github.com/mocasalter/qmk_firmware/tree/master/keyboards/massdrop/alt/keymaps/mocasalter
Using Configurator to add a layer but still use L1 as modifier isn't working out...
I'm trying to leave L0 at defaults, add a few new modifications to L1, and create a new L2 which will be a Colemak layout. My thought was that I should be able to set the "Fn" key to MO(1) on both L0 and L2, that way I can assign a key combo - using Fn+K to go to L0 and Fn+L to go to L2 (colemak).
Problem is that upon flashing, the result I get is that once I switch to L2 I'm stuck there, "Fn" no longer let's me pull up L1. For some reason "Fn" set to MO(1) isn't functional from L2. Here's the config, love to know what I'm doing wrong:
CTRL Keyboard: Does anyone know what LED types are used?
Does anyone know what type of LED's are on the DROP CTRL RGB Keyboard? I'm asking in case anyone tried to replace one on the PCB. I saw a guy tearing down the keyboard which was awesome here https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=SCdfmLghecU&feature=emb_title.
However these LED's don't look like LEDs I found for sale at e.g.: https://kprepublic.com/collections/led
The closest I could find are: https://www.radioshack.com/products/radioshack-4-pin-dip-3mm-round-white-led
It would be awesome to either know the exact part number or the specs like max current, operating votlage, etc.
Recently, I rejoined MT3 Susuwatari drop (I changed my previous order) and I noticed that the Order Status fell under Under Review?
Is this something ordinary? I can't seem to find anything about this and I'm sorry if it is a dumb question.
Thank you in advance and have a good day all!
