As someone playing mostly FPS, the linears feel comfortable, but I can see how you'd want that tactile feel for RTS and RPGs.
And thanks for your thoughts on some silent tactile options! My reds are on a hot-swappable, so hopefully there's a chance to test out some of your recommendations (once I've stumbled across a large sum of money, naturally).

epsilonminusFor FPS I like ink blacks. They’re so buttery smooth, plus they’re beginner friendly. Hippos are another great linear. Creams are great too. Honestly if you’re gonna go with a silent get a premium silent. A black ink is smooth and crisp, but quiet.
