I have the Tarptent Double Rainbow that I use just for myself. Yes two people can fit into it but it's a great size for 1 person + gear. I'm 6ft but sleep on my side anyways so touching the ends isn't a problem. Tarptent also gives you the option of buying a clip in liner that adds some warmth and protects against condensation. I would share this tent with a significant other (keeping our gear in the vestibules) but it would be too close for comfort to share with someone you're not intimate with. As a side note, I LOVE this tent.
I own the Tarp Tent Rainbow 1 person. (same length as the Double Rainbow)
Love the design but at 6'3" it's way too easy to touch the side walls (top and bottom end) and get wet on the head and feet part of your sleeping bag. Just from mild rolling over in your sleep. Really frustrating. Tend to sleep curled up in fear of waking up wet and cold. So tall people take notice.
The Tarp Tent Double Moment looks to solve this by having the outer fly pitched much higher and further away from the head and foot area. I fell in love with the really easy and robust pitching of the 1 person original Moment cycle touring for a month in Japan. Highly recommend it. I'm voting for the Double Moment!
